I purchased this battery after having a D Tap to Dummy battery fry on my FX30 camera. Its better and frankly if you get several of these you won't have power issues. My only annoyance is that the Sony FX30 issues a warning about this battery and usage but it may be because Im not taking a loan out for their stock batteries.
