Been looking to replace my old transfer pump for a while. Saw this an bought it based on the reviews. I replace domestic heating oil tanks at work and this is by far the best pump I have used. Easy to assemble and use. No need for priming, just switch on and go. The flow rate is excellent. The filter is a great addition and works really well. I had to transfer 1000 litres of heating oil from one tank to another and this done it really quick with no issues or problems. The filter also picked up quite a bit of debris which stopped it getting into the new tank/heating system.
Now using for other fuel transfer which saving time and effort.

Prompt delivery, easy to assemble, but that's were the good news ends.
The first pump I ordered (for a job that I needed to complete ASAP) failed to run at all, the motor just hummed, but didn't turn. Undeterred by the failure, I sent it back and ordered another one. What chances a second pump would fail?
It arrived, I plugged it in and checked the motor turned, it did, bingo or so I thought.
Took the pump to the oil tank I wanted to transfer from and assembled the unit. Plugged it in turned it on and 5 seconds later it stopped.
Clearly not a very robust unit. My advice if you want something that works and is reliable, don't buy this.
