This album is so perfectly put together that so far I haven't needed to 'shuffle' tracks according to my tastes. It's set me into thinking whether any albums I own are like that. I can think of a few but not many. It really is stunning. I own most of their albums, have seen them live twice (London and Newcastle last year) and only ever listen to them now (apart from an occassional detour to Chappell Roan - the next Kate Bush in my humble opinion). My rambling here is deliberate; a chance to ramble because if I'm listening to Voces8, I am still, I am silent and I need to keep remembering to breathe. This album will do the same to you - prepare to be transfixed, to become one with the space around you and just let it happen. Enough auld gadgie wisdom from me - check out the playlist, the writers - Sigur Ros, Caroline Shaw, Kerensa Briggs...indulge yourself.
