Product description

One Chem Ready to Use Spray and Leave is ideal for paths, patios, driveways, steps, headstones, garden ornaments and much more. This product is designed to clean mould, algae and everyday dirt away from the affected areas and to destroy the spores which are produced by algae. This will help lengthen the time in which the algae reforms. The formula is designed to work with the outdoor elements, including wind and rain, to gradually wash away the contamination over a number of months - and can continue working for up to a year, depending on the extent of contamination. NOTE: The colour of the bottle may vary

So I bought this to spray mildew/algae that has been forming on my driveway paving between slabs. The spray gun that comes with it takes a few squirts to get going. But it's easy enough to use. This product is what I'd call a slow burner, you apply it and wait. I reckon a week later it had done it's job. I then saw patches I missed and resprayed. All in all it's cheap and did the job!

2 days after spraying my 15m x 2m balcony all the algae and moss had gone!
The sprayer was tricky there is a cap on the hose that has to be removed and the “gun” has to be screwed tight but then it worked fine. Only used half of the 5L.

I've used this a number of times now and its complete rubbish. In context I have the lightest amount of mould on my decking, sprayed this twice, left it and it has done absolutely nothing. Granted in some random areas and it has removed some. In terms of expectations, I've used mpuld removal sprays indoors like Cillit Bang mould remover on black thick mould and its demolished it so my expectations were that an outdoor spray equivalent would have similar results. It hasnt, its rubbish, dont bother.

Used to try and remove green algae from the back of our rendered house that has looked unsightly for ages. Sprayed it on a fairly mild and dry day, 12 hours later was already looking better and next day was all but gone. Based on the result used it on our path, patio slabs, plastic storage bins and (fabric) patio furniture covers which all had varying degrees of green growth and despite heavy rain about 24 hours later all except the furniture covers have come up as new - well impressed! With regards to reviews saying the trigger spray didn't work it did take a lot of pumps of the trigger to prime it - I was about to give up and assume the reviews were right when I saw the liquid part way up the tube so kept pumping and eventually it reached the spray head and works perfectly, so persevere!
