Table top can be raised with just 1 finger by simply pushing the table top upwards. To lower the table lift the black handle up while guiding the table top downwards. Now with upgraded assembly instructions and packaging.
The table has a large table top 76cm x 38cm which easily and safely goes over a bed or chair. Please compare with some of the other tables advertised which have small tops and dont raise high enough.
Over bed table ideal for use in the bedroom or the lounge. Swivel castors allow easy positioning and moving.
Easy maintained wipe clean top and frame. The over bed table also has brakes fitted onto 2 of the castors.

Easily assembled if you're a fairly confident handy-person, with good instructions and a well packaged strip of fittings. Its riser mechanism is tension-sprung, so pay attention to the final part of the instructions which cover the removal of a screw to activate the mechanism. You'll need a screwdriver and spanners or sockets to tighten the fixings provided, but there really is minimal assembly work to do with this product. In use, the quality of this table is aesthetically pleasing and it rolls nicely on its generous sized castors.
If assembled correctly, the "one-finger" riser mechanism does just that. Very easy and quick to alter its height according to need. A good value product which is fairly priced and should last many years if looked after.

This is a good simple clean design with nice lines. I hate items that look like items for the disabled - beige, cream, big knobs, naff designs. Whilst I probably wouldn’t want this in my home unless I had to have one for a disabled partner, at least it doesn’t stand out in the bedroom as “medical type equipment”. The chrome leg and base are as good as they get, and the wheels are the same as on other functional furniture like computer desks. The top is a very dark brown wood grain pattern which is tolerable. I would have preferred white or grey but it doesn’t scream plastic wood as you walk in the room. Under electric light it looks virtually black.
The packaging and assembly instructions were good. The small parts are mounted on a card with outlines and parts numbers, a lot better than the usual plastic bag of jumbled bits. The wheels were in a small box.
It went together quite easily with the aid of 11mm and 16mm spanners. My old pre-metric spanners were fine. You also need a substantial cross head screwdriver. My medium sized one wasn’t good enough for the job and a trip to the shed for a bigger one made all the difference.
Once assembled, it works well. The release lever is very easy to operate, and once released, it is very easy to change the height of the table with only a light pressure needed. The only problem I found is that I couldn’t lift the table over a scramble of oxygen lines as the table top started lifting instead of the table lifting. I just need to get used to moving the oxygen line coils instead of moving the table over the coils.
As far as price is concerned, it is much better value than the bit of rubbish I just sent back to a mobility shop. That cost £80, did not allow reclaiming of VAT on that particular model, was badly packaged and consequently damaged, slow to arrive, had no instructions at all, and a much smaller table top. It had also been sent to someone else previously and still had their address label on the box. It also looked cheap and nasty. This is a much better buy, especially since I can now reclaim the VAT.
I expect a proper hospital type trolley could have been supplied by the district nurse but the chances are that would have been used by several other people, be a bit battered, and have the nasty “disabled equiment” look. I’m very glad we were able to buy our own at such a good price instead.

Firstly, this is a very good over bed table. It is well made, very sturdy and unlike the one my friend has, the casters are big enough to cope with carpet.
However, the most wonderful thing about this piece of furniture is the assembly instructions. They are clear, helpful and printed in colour on both sides of an A4 piece of glossy card. They have diagrams, photos and text. Yes, I know! Actual written instructions! And in a font size that's plenty big enough to read! What's more, they're written in English only by a person who not only appears to be a native English speaker but also to have actually assembled one of these tables themselves!
But wait! There's more! The little bits like nuts, bolts, washers etc are mounted on a piece of card and clearly labelled with their component numbers.
I've shown the instructions to everyone I know and everybody - without any prompting from me - has been impressed.
All except one, who just said, "You don't get out much, do you Rob?"

Built by my elderly mother with minimal instruction.
Watch out for fitting the height adjustment paddle upside-down.
When finished, it is level, stable & very sturdy. It's also much bigger than my old table.
I'm able to comfortably fit my Laptop & other bits & pieces. They don't roll off. Paying attention & common sense helps prevent items falling off.
I can only assume the negative 1 star reviews are mainly user error, as I've experienced none of the "problems" reported.
I am very pleased in general with this table and it performs it's function very well.
It can raise very high, I have an articulated Hospital type bed which is a bit higher than the usual bed and it fits over this with no trouble & has the potential to raise much further in the unlikely event it is needed.

C'est du bon matériel, bien fait, solide... mais la hauteur n'est pas facile à régler,
il faut dévisser des grosses molettes et les barres en inox sont mobiles, y en a une qui glisse moins bien que l'autre, qui, elle, glisse trop !
Bref y faut un peu se battre avec mais on y arrive, en tout cas c'est fait pour durer !
