This fire guard was a bit of a disappointment really, it’s quite flimsy and when it arrived it had some dents in the mesh which were quite visible, when it was put in situ on the hearth you couldn’t notice the dents at all. This was purchased to keep my kitten out of the fireplace and it does the job, I think if it was for child safety then i would suggest something a bit more robust. It was relatively cheap so it’s not the end of the world and it looks ok.
I would say it’s value for money.
