This walking stick is very easy to collapse/reassemble, and great for putting in a bag when out and about, in case it's needed. I use an elastic band to secure it when collapsed, rather than the clip thing it comes with, as it tends to spring out of this. Also, using an elastic band means it takes up a smaller space. The ferrule is big enough to make this stick feel sturdy, and it's also nice and lightweight. If it came in other colours/patterns I would definitely buy another one! Great value for money!

Recently bought a pair of these when an unexpected health issue limited my ability to walk more than a few yards. The NHS were unwilling/unable to provide anything to assist.
The value is brilliant. They fold easily when not needed. Only drawbacks are that they don't feel suitable to bear heavier loads (probably not specialist enough for such a task) and the length doesn't extend as much as I'd like - they feel a bit too short sometimes so my arms need to be fully extended downwards.
Greater length for taller people would be ideal, but not the designers fault, really.
Still, happy with them and will keep them even after I can walk unassisted.

The stick itself it okay but - my issue is with the design of this and pretty much every other folding walking stick. The ability to fold them makes them wobbly which I find uncomfortable in use, and impacts upon the stability and steadiness of the stick ! As you really need a walking stick to provide you with that extra bit of support and steadiness, the folding design seems a bit daft as it detracts from the purpose of the stick ! Okay fair enough if you need something foldable for ease of storage and only occasional use, then this is okay, but if you want a sturdy walking stick, don't buy a folding one.
