I bought these as I wanted to try Eggs Benedict in an air fryer.

My initial impression is the moulds are a bit floppy which is fair enough as that's in the description. I have a Ninja dual tray air fryer and while you can fit two of the moulds in one tray they go right to the edge and overlap a bit. This actually makes them quite fiddly to get them out especially if you want to take the eggs out while they're still hot. I tried using one tong but they're two floppy for that so had to hold the other edge with a towel but I can see that's a disaster waiting to happen.

I'm sure they will come in handy for something else but not if you plan to make eggs like me and have two of them in one tray of a Ninja dual drawer air fryer

I bought these silicone pouches for poached eggs, as my previous pouches were not very tall and therefore sometimes the water in the saucepan went into the pouch and therefore ruined the eggs. I thought these would be an improvement, as they are taller and have a lip to lift out the pouches, which my previous ones didnt have, thereby making it unsafe to try to lift the pouches from the boiling water. However, when I did the first eggs, the lips were so hot I couldnt touch them; this wasnt the case with my previous pouches, are the silicone on them better made? these new pouches are wobbly in comparison with my previous ones. then I saw that the eggs, while the outside whites were firm, the whites nearer the yolk were underdone and runny, so I couldnt eat them as I hate runny whites. This wasnt the case with my previous pouches and I can only assume the shape of the pouch makes the difference - who knew? my previous pouches were smaller keeping the eggs more upright, so it would seem that the wider the eggs, the more the inner white bits stay underdone.
