Not the most popular of Bowie's recordings from the early 70's, but takes me back as the first record I ever bought was 'Sorrow'. A good reissue. Nice and heavy vinyl and well pressed. Great!
So after Ziggy and Aladdin Sane, David needed new direction with commitments to fulfil. What better than to pay back all those times when he hung out in swinging London, while paced at merely an onlooker. He had his bands and acts that always fell short. Drawing inspiration from the songs he loved and the people he knew, David ended up in France with Mick and Mike as cornerstones of this band. His versions are sublime, you can never greater the originals, but they become his own in a totally different way. The release I purchased was the vinyl of the 2024 half speed master, no remastering but a beautifully perfect version of the original master tapes.
Was really looking forward to getting this unfortunately was very disappointed when I got it. I expected so much more. Horrible sound quality. Had to return for a refund.
5.0 out of 5 starsRecieved package today. Excellent service.
Invece a me è piaciuto molto.
