This Starter Beer Making Set is a combination of an Equipment Set and a good quality malt concentrate kit, so you are ready to start brewing straight away! This ale is traditionally highly hopped and robust so it could survive the long voyage to the Indian sub-continent. The result is a full bodied Pale Ale with a zesty character. This kit makes 32 pints of it with an ABV of 5.5%. Perfect as a beginners Starter Beermaking Set or as a gift, it is an excellent introduction to beer making this set contains the following items: 1 x 25 litre Fermenting Bin, 1 x Fermenting Bin Lid with grommet for Airlock, 1 x Syphon with U bend and tap (long version for ease of use), 1 x 6 chamber Bubbler Airlock, 1 x Brewing Spoon (18 inch;), 1 x Stevenson-Reeves Hydrometer for Wine & Beer, 1 x Plastic measuring cylinder (Trial Jar), 1 x 100g VWP Cleanser / Sterilizer, 1 x St Peters IPA 3Kg beer kit with 2 tins of malt extract, 1 sachet of brewing yeast (to start the fermentation process) and a hop enhancement sachet. In order to make this kit you may need: Bottles (e.g. 2 litre plastic lemonade bottles, for storing finished product), Water. Once the kit has been brewed, this kit is suitable for making most standard size 23 litre (or smaller) beer kits.
