These work perfectly, but judging by the other reviews you need to be careful about drilling the correct sized hole.
On the packaging it states a 6mm drill bit, but (perhaps unhelpfully) has a picture of an HSS drill bit. Don't use an HSS drill, use a 6mm wood drill bit as shown in the pictures.
Drill the holes carefully (not pushing hard since you don't want to make a dent on the inside of the opposite side of the door). Insert the plugs and tap them in gently with a hammer.
The plugs then work perfectly, and offer a firm hold. Note that (as mentioned in other reviews) they are not 100% flush because the outer flange sits proud of the door panel by perhaps 0.5mm.
As shown in the images, the plus perfectly well hold an ironing board hook, for an ironing board that's not especially light.
Overall these are very good and I will use them again.
