The units format is perfect for me with 2 high/mid range speakers and a small sub. After breaking in for a few hours I find the sound, for such a small unit, is lovely on classical eq setting. Rich base, balanced mid range and not harsh highs. Probably all helped by the solid wood case. Feels like a quality product. Led lighting adds to the charm of listening to it. (You can turn the lighting off). Remote control responsive. Charge lasts hours. Carry handle handy. Unlike some other speakers the eq settings really do make a difference. Must be careful not to overdrive speakers with too much volume and/or bass, it's only a small unit as I say. Remember to turn volume down when switching between inputs as can be a big difference. Don't want to blow it. Overall, a very charming and great product.

All good to start, arrived quickly etc, slightly slow to accept Bluetooth connection, but sound was reasonable.
But …
Charge time depleted very quickly and now won’t recharge at all.
Mains connection doesn’t even work as (am guessing) the port has separated from the internal wiring.
So now it’s a useless box in the corner.
Has anyone else experienced this? Reviews were quite positive when I purchased.
Very disappointed as hasn’t lasted 6 months..

I wanted something loud so I didn't have to listen to the music of the guy who lives on on the next street when I am cooking in my kitchen, in the bath, watching TV, working at my PC etc as my son has taken his expensive DEWALT gettoblaster I use to use. I didn't want to spend a lot, this was 50 GBP, the day after it was 70 GBP. I would not have purchased at the latter price.
What I like: I charged overnight and the battery life at vol 6 (enough for a reasonable sized room) is still going after 12 hours. This will be great for camping. I like that it can be positioned upright or on its side to maximise the bass sound. The sound quality is really very good. I like the small portable size and the materials are good solid quality. I like that is has FM radio which I listen to. I like that you can gave lights on or off. I like the charger is C type, same as my mobile. It's an attractive item.
I don't like: there is a battery icon light on the display, this doesn't seem to ever change to represent the battery power as would a mobile. It's always full, even just before it runs out of power, so it seems. Therefore you never know how much charge it has. I don't like that you can't seem to preset radio channels, it's automatic search and auto saves. You can manually input frequency but Instructions do not say you can choose presets, therefore presets are decided for you I would have preferred and paid more for DAB radio (not available on these models). The Arial will only extend upwards should really be more flexible, left or right, and to accommodate the unit being turned on it's side. No indication of full charge that I have seen, often a solid red light after blinking or red light turns green, non of that. I left on charge overnight, the red DC light had gone off in the morning, but on removing DC then plugging into electric supply went red again, so that wasn't a good indication of battery power/charge. I turned the volume up to max briefly while the radio was on, it didn't seem as loud as I had thought 60w max 80w speaker would be, however it's loud enough for most purposes.
Conclusion: overall this is a really good item, it's not high end as the little things mentioned above that could be better, but you're not paying for high end and that can be expected. The item I would say is not at all cheap quality but mid range and I'm enjoying having this. I haven't tried USB music but Bluetooth connection is reliably quick and easy. I don't know if it works with my Google nest hub/speaker, may try that soon.

I turned the volume up to max briefly while the radio was on, it didn't seem as loud as I had thought 60w max 80w speaker would be, however it's loud enough for most purposes.
Conclusion: overall this is a really good item, it's not high end as the little things mentioned above that could be better, but you're not paying for high end and that can be expected. The item I would say is not at all cheap quality but mid range and I'm enjoying having this. I haven't tried USB music but Bluetooth connection is reliably quick and easy. I don't know if it works with my Google nest hub/speaker, may try that soon.

I bought this speaker to replace an old one (for better sound) and to be honest this product is good for the price its stylish and sleek design and for sound it does have a much better sounding then my casual speaker and the bass isnt bad with the right EQ setting on your device and on the unit it does pack a punch for what it is. Its light to carry and be good for bbqs working on sites or in my case good for playing drum and bass while in the bath tub.all round very happy with this choice.

certainly loud enough for an inside room, i have never tried out out side yet so wait to see its performance as some of the smaller unit can tend to loose there volume and sound quality, loads of base depending on taste, and a very good sound, Blue tooth is easy SD card is easy, AUX is easy but id prefer it was on the front not the top, same for the USB charger port, battery life is very good. You can switch off the disco lights if you don't want them on. Over all very pleased with it!
