I chose this orchid food as I received two orchids as gifts over Christmas, and wanted to do my best to ensure they are well looked after.
This food is made using seaweed extract, which I have used on my plants in the past with good results.
The instructions state to shake the bottle and apply to the leaves or soil/water around the base whilst avoiding spraying on the flowers. The instructions on the page are a little confusing, as it states under one of the photos to use once every 2 to 3 weeks during the active growing season. However, in the product description it says to use once a week for best results ?? Having checked the bottle, this states to use once a week, so that is what I plan to do, but the seller may wish to update the part which states every 2 to 3 weeks.
As we are currently in the depths of a deep freeze here in the UK with sub-zero temperatures, now is not the time to test this product. However, once Winter is over and the growing season begins, I will be sure to put this product to the test and will update my review accordingly regarding the results. Hopefully my orchids will survive long enough for me to test it !
