This is a convenient 1-2 cup ground coffee maker with a removable permanent filter. It is very easy to use and clean. I bought this because I already had a Salter-branded version that was working well and needed one in my office, but the Salter one had gone up £8 in price, while this was at the original Salter price. I bought this to check out the differences and couldn't find any.
The coffee goes into an insulated travel mug with a large capacity. It has a lid with a drinking hole. This mug is useful when, like me, you forget you've put the maker on and remember 40 minutes later! The cup keeps the coffee drinkable for well over 90 minutes.
