Ordered this as i do like and trust RIENOK Bluetooth Speakers, i actually already own the S4 & S6 so the S7 would have hopefully have been a better speaker.

Now the speaker does look nice with its light up top section, you have a limited choice of colours and can also have it light up to the music on a few settings. i have however found a issue and a surprise.

The surprise is that considering this has a higher model number the one i already own "the S6" is actually louder than the S7, the S7 is slightly bigger however its actual speaker internal volume / space in the compartment will be a lot smaller due to the light on top of the unit. it does not have as much bass also compared to the other 2 i own.

The issue: this speaker is supposedly capable of stereo bluetooth pairing to another Rienok speaker, now i have tried to pair this to the S4 & S6 and it will not connect at all, the other 2 will connect to each other no problem (and yes i did reset them before trying to connect them), this is such a shame, my guess is that for this model they are forcing you to only use 2x S7's for stereo sound. This is such a letdown, there is no reason to hamper this speaker like that.

My recommendation is that is you like this and will not be using the stereo function or you want 2 of the same then it is a good all round speaker with a decent set of lights on top. if however you own one of the S4 or S6 already and you are looking at another speaker to do stereo then go with the S6... Pluss the fact that the sound quality on the other speakers is better makes this a 4 star product... would have been 3 stars but i do trust the brand.

When it comes to Bluetooth speakers, I've come to trust RIENOK for both quality and fun. Their S7 model continues to impress, offering solid audio with crisp highs and balanced bass. It's the perfect companion for outdoor adventures, thanks to its IPX6 waterproof rating - I can confidently use it in the garden or on camping trips without worrying about the weather.

The battery life is excellent, lasting the whole day if I'm not using the lights. When I do use the lights, the battery still holds up well, and the lighting effects themselves are stunning. The colours are vibrant, and there's a calming mode where the lights shift and grow slowly - it's very relaxing.

Another feature I love is the ability to play music from a microSD card, which is ideal when I've prepared a playlist for an event. The speaker is also surprisingly portable, despite its height. The compact footprint means it doesn't take up too much space, and it's easy to move around.

All in all, the RIENOK S7 offers a great blend of sound, battery life, portability, and waterproofing, all wrapped up in a fun design with a dynamic light show. It's the perfect speaker for my camping trips.

The aesthetic of this speaker is subjective but for a camping "party" type speaker I think it looks pretty good. The LED lighting can be changed between a few modes and the light diffusion on it is pretty nice.
The included hanging hook is quite handy and feels sturdy as well.

The primary function of a speaker of course though is sound, and the quality of the sound from this is poor at best quite honestly. The sound lacks bass and depth in general and the highs are muffled into the mids. As there is no software or onboard EQ you are at the mercy of changing it on your device directly which will then affect other listening devices you later attach such as headphones, and then have to set it back again.

Other brands that are around the same price point offer this feature as standard and significantly better sound quality to boot.

The main feature of this that I can see being specifically useful for camping however is that it can take microSD so if you have bad reception or no phone charging available, or didn't store files on your device first, you can still have music available to you directly on the device.

The controls are awkward and placed on the bottom of the speaker so if you choose to use the build in SD functions and have put this on a surface you have to pick it up every time you want to use the controls which is a massive design flaw.

It gets sound out, and If you specifically want lights and SD functions this is OK enough but not special in terms of sound quality and I would suggest sits below average in this area.

This little speaker is an absolute belter! Whether I’m using it in the garden, the kitchen, or on the go, it delivers crystal-clear sound with surprisingly deep bass for its size.
