The kit has 70 different colours, which gives my kids so many options to create bracelets, keychains, and other fun crafts. With 7300 rubber bands, there’s more than enough to last for a long time, and they enjoy picking different colours each time. The bands are strong and stretchy, so they don’t snap easily.

This is a great gift (stocking filler?) for younger children who can spend time away from screens creating sculptures, bracelets and other items as well as generally flicking elastic bands around the house.

My only real criticism of the kit is that once open, it is very difficult to keep the different coloured bands separate and, rather unsurprisingly with smaller children around, things tend to get mixed up rather quickly. However, I guess adding additional storage would increase the cost of this kit, which at ~£12 at the time of writing is just about OK for what is ultimately a box of small rubber bands.

Mixed feelings about this. Don’t get me wrong the kids in my class adore making loom bracelets and this has been a great refill. I love that some are glow in the dark too. It’s nice that they are wrapped by colour so you don’t need to rush and sort through . Unfortunately so much plastic that I’m wondering about the environment with this… the wrapping and the bands themselves too

This is such an extensive kit of loom bands. There are 70 colours and including s clips and some other accessories. There are so many bands, they will last a very long time. It would be nice to have a plastic storage case included but £12.74 seems very goof value for the quantity and quality of loom bands in the kit.

Geliefert wird eine schöne, bunte Schachtel die beim öffnen randvoll mit 70 Säckchen gefüllt ist. Ich konnte nirgends rausfinden wieviele Gummibändchen dann jeweils pro Farbe enthalten sind, aber es sind sehr viele. Geschätzt sind es wirklich hunderte...

Anfangs dachte ich, dass schon mehrere gleiche Farben dabei sind. Bei genauerem hinschauen sieht man dann aber doch auch feine Unterschiede bei ähnlichen Farben. Aber 70 Farben ist ja auch wirklich eine Ansage, da müssen halt ähnliche dabei sein.

Die Lumineszierenden Gummis erkennt man an der Verpackung nicht, am einfachsten gehts wenn man damit in einen dunklen Raum oder einfach unter eine Decke geht nachdem die Bändchen ordentlich 'geladen' wurden. Die Gummiringe sind für diese Anwendung auf jeden Fall ausreichend stabil.

Mit im Karton sind eine Anleitung, ein Strohhalm und 4 Stk von den 'Häkelnadeln'. Ein sehr umfangreiches Sortiment und die Leistung die man für den Preis bekommt (stundenlang beschäftigte Kinder) sind top!

My daughter has had many rubber band loom kits and runs out of certain colors often. This kit will be fine to replace her dwindling previous kit. However, there are most definitely not 70 different colors. Maybe 70 separate little packs, but the same colors repeat more than once. Not a huge deal, but definitely a misconception in my opinion. Still, it's an average refill kit.

Hier wird man leider komplett belogen. Der Grund, dass ich dennoch 3 Sterne gebe ist, dass meine Tochter dennoch sehr zufrieden mit den Loombändern ist und das ja durchaus in die Bewertung mit eingehen sollte, da es sich um ein Produkt für Kinder handelt.

Was aber kritisiere ich?
Zum einen: 70 Farben? NEIN...
Es sind 70 Plastiktüten mit in etwa je 100 Gummis enthalten - aber (fast) jede Farbe ist mehrfach enthalten.

Zum nächsten: Es sollten 15 Farben im dunklen leuchten? NEIN...
Die gleiche Lüge - es sind nicht 15 verschiedene Farben, sondern wesentlich wenige, da bis zu 3 Beutel die gleiche Farbe sind. Ob nun überhaupt 15 der Beutel leuchten habe ich nicht mehr nachgezählt, da es ohnehin schon schwer war diese überhaupt zum leuchten anzuregen und sie dann zu zählen habe ich schlichtweg vergessen.

Zum dritten: Bei einem Päckchen habe ich nachgezählt. Es waren etwa 100 Bänder darin. Wenn ich nun hochrechne, dann komme ich nicht auf 7300 Loombänder, sondern nur auf 7000 - dazu kommt, dass von den 100, die darin waren 5 bereits kaputt waren. Bei einer Ausschussquote von 5% bleiben also am Ende nur noch 6650 übrig. Fast 10% weniger als die versprochenen 7300.

Dann kommt noch dieser billige Kartonstab dazu, den man selbst zerschneiden soll, um ihn als Fädelhilfe zu benutzen...? Meine Tochter hatte aus einem anderen Set eine "Fädelzwille" aus Plastik, die sie benutzen kann, denn auf diesen Stäben endet das nur in Frust. Man müsste den Abstand die ganze Zeit selbst halten, man muss tierisch aufpassen, dass die Bänder nicht über die Spitze rutschen und ganz generell ist das eine Wertigkeit, die maximal 1 Stern verdient hätte...

Abgesehen von diesen kritischen Worten stehen aber dennoch ein paar Loombänder zur Verfügung, die wirklich toll aussehen. Besonderes die "gold-" und "silberoptik" hat es meiner Tochter angetan - leider sind davon dann eben keine 3 Tüten im Set...
Auch das ganze Ring-Management in den Tüten ist eher "meehh..." und könnte wesentlich schöner und Müllreduziert ablaufen.
Hätte ich die Lügen vorher schon als solche erkannt, dann hätte ich ein anderes Set bestellt.
Aber zumindest ihr seid ja nun hoffentlich gewarnt...
