    Omg. The quality, the sheer .russianness of Luganski’s playing and excellent accompaniment by the .CBSO and Sakari Oramo makes these concerti unsurpassed in my opinion. Forget Ashkenazy! I also love Yuja Wang’s no 2 and no 3 but she’s not Russian! And although her playing reaches vibrational heights unmatched by Lugansky, he is the solid interpretation for truthful Russian playing.
    The box is misleading as it implies Previn is the only conductor. Who cares when you hear such stunningly gorgeous renditions of these timeless performances?
