I bought this weather station to keep track of current local weather and also view historical weather. Pricing is very fair and the station and sensor is feature-rich. Not sure how it stacks up to competitors but I have this running for a week now without any issues.

Pros
+ Fair price
+ Weather station display is quite nice, not distracting and easy to follow
+ Relatively easy to setup (some hiccups in cons below)
+ External weather sensor is not massive, it is a nice compact size
+ Everything needed is in the box
+ Appears to be accurate (compared with other local readings)
+ I hooked it up to wunderground easily enough

Cons
- Documentation is poorly laid out and doesn't cover everything (e.g., mounting options)
- To get full features you need to connect to Wi-Fi (NTP, external services etc) and to enable always-on Wi-Fi connectivity, the weather station (not the external sensor) needs to be connected to mains power.
- Connecting the weather station to Wi-Fi is a bit finicky and the local webpage you need to access is glitchy and slow - this needs a proper dedicated section in the manual.

Overall, I'm very happy with it. A recommendation I would add is that I suggest you connect the weather station to your Wi-Fi guest network if you have one (this is good cybersecurity practise for IOT equipment such as wifi cameras, smart TVs, etc).

This weather station is reassuringly solid and seems to tick all the boxes in terms of monitoring local weather and generating significant amounts of data to upload and analyse. It's early days, but putting everything together, installing the station and connecting everything to the global weather cloud went reasonably smoothly. My data is steadily building up on Weather Underground and WeatherCloud and my readings are in good alignment with other local stations, which is reassuring. My only comment is that the diagrams, and some of the text, in the instruction manual are very small and it took a little bit of trial an error to work out how everything was meant to go together.

This is one complete weather station, I have never seen a unit that can display so much information. I found the hardest part was trying to find a location to put it. I ended up putting a separate stump in the garden for this to attach to. I like the solar power and the instruments that it holds. The display that shows all this information is just insane; there is so much information that you can view. My only criticism is that there can be too much information and can seem confusing at times, I think it would have been better to have the screen cycle through the different displays rather than show everything at the same time. Apart from that, it is a great piece of equipment.

Daddy MN6 WiFi Weather Station: This is a great quality weather station which allows you to have an external sensor that you can monitor and plot from the warmth of indoors!

My husband is a bit obsessed with the weather and regularly yells at the forecasters on the TV, so I thought this might be a better option for him and bring me a bit more peace.

It’s easy to set up, the main trick is to find a suitable spot for the outside sensor which is secure but still able to detect the trends. During these past few days of gusty winds we’ve had to think again about where to install and have had to relocate out of the direct impact but that doesn’t seem to have affected the information.

We have very sketchy mobile and WiFi signals in our part of the world and were unsuccessful in using the app, that said it’s perfectly usable without it and appears spot-on in accuracy. This certainly isn’t a toy station, it’s well built and provides a good level of information and for those interested in weather trends, it’s an excellent bit of kit, bit expensive at £94 pounds but well made and easy to use.
