This is a nice mat that gives your bathroom a bit of an extra touch and style. The wood is a nice colour, not too orange. The base has little rubber round parts which stop it from sliding around and so does stay put. Mine was ever so slightly uneven on the bottom so does feel like it shifts up and down on the opposite side when I stand on it. It's a good size as well, on the smaller side compared to a traditional bath mat but I like that it saves space without looking tiny.
Nice addition to our new bathroom. I have made sure after use we prop it up to avoid it getting mould. It's nice and sturdy and well made. Glad I made this purchase

I have always used a cloth bath mat but decided to give this a try, mainly because I am sick of the usual one always being wet.
Having read some of the reviews, I was a bit worried about rough edges and getting splinters, but after thoroughly checking it, mine was nice and smooth.
It looks really nice in my downstairs shower room, and looks a lot more modern than a standard bath mat.
I like how it has the slats for water to drain through, which means it dries really quickly.
The only thing I have reservations about is it’s longevity, but only time will tell.. For now, I am very pleased. 😊

I like this bamboo wooden bath shower mat. It helps me to keep my bath dry and change my cloths . It is better than fabric mat as it gets dry easily. It is suitable for the families who share their bath rooms. I like its strong rubber grip. It do not slip on displace. I like it and I will definitely recommend it.

I was looking forwards to using this but firstly it was too large for the space I wanted it for in my bathroom. Secondly, it hasn't been polished & I worry it'll soon get mouldy used as a step in the bathroom. I didn't fund any splinters in mine, it seems perfectly smooth however,I tried using it as a step in front of the basin & I quickly hit my toes on it so it's not useful for that purpose neither. Also, it has sharp edges...which should have been smoothed down. I'll try using it as a doormat & update.

I’d have never thought about using a wooden bath mat and was intrigued to give it a go. At first I was confused wether to but the fabric bath mat underneath or on top before settling on removing it altogether. I’m glad I did as it makes sense to use the wooden mat by itself!
It doesn’t soak up water like a fabric mat and it has good airflow, allowing the area to dry.
The mat itself is made from smooth wood, however there were a few splintery parts around the edges (not where you put your feet). I’d probably recommend sanding it, if you’re nervous about that.
Overall, the quality is lovely and looks great too in our bathroom.

I have always preferred duck boards to mats in bathrooms, they are more hygienic easier to clean up and don't need washing every week or so. Bamboo is an ideal material for them but you have to be careful with bamboo as it takes no prisoners if it all goes wrong. Splinters are bad news whenever they happen but with bamboo they can be particularly painful so anything you are going to walk on in bare feet should be absolutely impeccably manufactured.
I went over the board carefully before using it and found no less than six long thin splinters at the edges, not large ones but potentially they could get much worse so removal was important. I ended up going over the entire board with a sanding block taking off the corners of the cut edges. The ends in particular are very sharply cut and quite apart from the risk of splinters would be very painful to catch your foot or stub a toe on.
I've found poor finish to be a problem with a lot of bamboo products in recent years. A nice clean cut tight angle may look good to some but I'm afraid with material like bamboo it's not a great idea, it remains very sharp for a long time and can easily break the skin and draw blood. This is all the more irritating when you consider it only takes a few seconds with a sanding block to make it safe.
It's a nice duck board and when finished off it works well and is comfortable underfoot, but be prepared to inspect it carefully and take some sandpaper to it.
