As Moss Remover only contains plant nutrients and a natural bacteria that only attacks moss, then it is perfectly safe to pets, animals, wildlife etc.But, as with any lawn treatment, it makes sense to keep any animals off the turf while it is being applied and until it is watered in, to prevent them getting any of the dry material on their paws or in their hair, to prevent them carrying it around with them.

Directions:

1. Apply evenly on moss-covered area. 2. Water in to activate. 3. Wait for moss to turn brown/black (dead). 4. Rake or remove dead moss.

Organic and high in potash Moss Remover will gently feed the lawn for up to 12 weeks.

Living in the west of Scotland where a dry 24 hours is rare, moss is a fact of life. i had given up scarifyig but this product is amazig. where I had moss I now have lush green grass! It took about 4 weeks after the application. At first there were brown areas where the moss had died. The new grass appeared and soon the brown had disappeared. No raking or reseeding was required. Used on a front lawn that was completely taken over with moss and some sort of fungi. I was concerned that if it killed the moss it would leave very little growth on the lawn so I did scarify the lawn before applying the product. The results have been truly impressive with really strong growth of grass in a really short space of time.
I've learnt some lessons however.
I applied the product with a wheeled spreader and in places didn't release the handle quickly enough and found to my cost if you dump a big quantity in one place it kills everything. Fortunately the adjacent areas grow rapidly and soon cover the brown patches. But beware you don't want to overdose.

I applied this to my lawn that does have a problem with moss due to heavy soil and a north facing garden.
It works quite quickly and doesn't need to be raked off. After two or three weeks it allows the grass to grow through the moss and the grass is nice and green.

It simply doesn't work as advertised. Thought I would try this one last spring rather than the usual moss killer products I would buy. Features sound great - organic as well. Problem is it simply did not work. If anything it fed the moss and it simply thrived into early summer. Save your money (its not cheap either) and buy a traditional moss killer for the lawn.
