Not the most comfortable to use. Scraper blade attachment continually kept sliding back whilst in use. The blade securing mechanism failed after approx 15mins blade no longer able to be used. The rubber profiles attachment very difficult to secure in unit (did not achieve this)

The scrapper part worked fine. Unfortunately the small blade used to start & clean old silicone from the surface kept coming out. As for the spreading blades these are next to useless. They don't clip into the handle that well & are not ridged enough.

I needed to replace the sealant around the kitchen sink. Removing sealant has always been something I hated doing.

I didn’t realise there was a tool for this job and it would have saved me a lot of struggle with other times I needed to remove the sealant. The V-shaped blade just hugs the sides around the sealant and neatly pulls it off. There’s also a flat blade integrated to get any silicone stuck to flat surfaces.

The blades are very sharp, so I would probably recommend wearing some cut-proof gloves if you have them.

I didn’t use this tool as the applicator for the new sealant because I needed something small to get around the tight space at the back of the sink (I used a smaller, silicone tool).

So I can’t comment on using it to apply new sealant. But for taking off old stuff, it works great.
