There's were recommended to me by a fellow tradesman and I'm not disappointed. I have to take the ladders on and off my roof rack dozens of times a day and this makes it so quick and easy, literally a couple of seconds per clamp. And if I'm going in a building for some time they are lockable. They are very robust and I can't see how anyone could improve on this design. Highly recommended.

These clamps are pretty legendary now amongst tradesmen. I’d say they must be on most’s wishlists if they don’t already have them.

I treated myself to a set and they don’t disappoint. Fast, absolutely solid, and they do the job perfectly.
The nice thing about these is the ‘hook’ part has a flat bottom which means they fit well on some of the modem deeper profile roof bars.

Like the speed at which this can be used to clamp, unclamp ladders from roof bars
Dislike that it is not compatible with my Thule aerobars. The profile of the bars does not fit correctly within the hooked section of the clamp and can pop off when travelling over uneven ground. Have had mine modified by cutting off the hook and welding on some flat bar that matches the profile of my roofbar.

Rhino customer services were quick and thorough in their reply that they do not make variations of the metal clamp to fit different roof bar profiles.

Still a great product and saves huge amount of time and effort.
