It drove me crazy how the normal supermarket sponges disintegrate not long after you’ve started using them. So far this product is a vast improvement. It also absorbs crumbs rather than flicking them around the work surface when wiping it down and rinses clean well. It’s nice not having to pick bits of sponge off the counter top anymore! The double side with a slightly abrasive texture is perfect for those non-stick pans too and it’s a great shape and thickness. I know this is sad, but they have made me so happy every time I wipe the surface with ease rather than frustration.

The product comprises 6 washing up sponges. The sponges are longer and slightly thinner than your bog-standard washing up sponges. The main colour is silver/grey but the edges are either yellow or blue (three of each colour).

The sponges are curved/ indented in the middle making them easy to grip on to. They have a two scouring surfaces; one side softer than the other. Neither scouring surface is very harsh making it really good for washing up non-stick pans and other more delicate items. I use the sponge to wipe down my counter tops and hob with no problem.

The sponges are really hard wearing and last a good amount of time before needing to be replaced. One sponge lasted me about 6 weeks (and I don't have a dishwasher so I wash up everything by hand). They are very absorbent and can hold a lot of water. I also find that food doesn't become trapped in the sponge so they continue to look good after many uses.

The sponges are a little more expensive than your standard wash-up sponges but they do outlast them, so over time you get better value for money. I really like the fact that the scouring surface is an integral part of the sponge and doesn't tear away from the sponge, which can happen with other brands.

They have a soft side and a rough side, but the rough one is less rough and less effective that other scourers designed for non-stick surfaces.
