If you have a very standard directors chair you will probably have no difficulty in fitting these covers. My chairs (Which I bought 20 years ago) caused some problems with the fitting, so some re-modelling was necessary, but I can't really blame the retailer for that. Now they are fitted they look very smart and the material makes them feel very secure to sit on. Colour seems stable and there is no noticeable stretch in the fabric.
