I bought this mainly to light candles with as I was fed up of burning my fingers with matches and regular lighters.
It's long enough to light candles that have melted right down to the bottom of tall candle holders which is just what I had problems with before. It typically lights within 1 to 2 clicks so it's just as reliable as a regular lighter.
One thing I really like about this safety lighter is it has a gap on both sides of the handle so you can see through to the gas container inside. This makes it super easy to see when you're running low on gas, it can then be refilled using any standard gas re-filler.
The build quality is very plasticky but for just over £1 it's to be expected.
Cheap as chips and works well, recommended.

But if you're buying it for the lock, don't bother. It's useless, impossible to push completely to one side, and comes undone with any pressure at all on the trigger. Otherwise, it works fine and the flame adjustment works well. Just don't expect it to be childproof.
