Having read a few reviews stating this wasn't useable in the UK I contacted the seller I purchased from to check it was a UK model to which the reply was no. I was fully prepared to have to return and have a lot of hassle doing so in the process.

It arrived a day earlier and I set about setting it up, adding SIM card etc. I signed into my Samsung account and that went smoothly. My SIM card was recognised and worked instantly, 1p Mobile, my back up SIM card. Received the latest OS updates without issue. It charged quicky via a 45 Watt adapter and corresponding cable. I've finished adding all of my apps, Nova Prime Launcher and it's working perfectly I'm pleased to report. This is my backup tablet as I already have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra 5g but due to living on YouTube in true crime live streams one tablet wasn't enough to get me through a full days viewing, I'm a very heavy user.

Now I'll be able to take this one out with me and not have to worry about lugging about the almost 15" gigantic S8 which was considerably more expensive, it can stay safely at home.

For the much smaller price tag than the S8 Ultra this is very good value for money. I can also relax knowing it will receive OS updates to Android 16 or 17, can't quite recall which at the moment.

8GB Ram is more than adequate for multi tasking. 128gb of inbuilt memory is also decent and an SD Micro can be added.

Very pleased. I will of course update if that should change.

Je cherchais une tablette pour offrir pour les 60 ans de mon beau-père, celle-ci fait parfaitement l’affaire.
Elle est d’un aspect relativement Premium. Je trouve, avec une finition en aluminium caractéristique des dernières tablettes et téléphones que l’on trouve aujourd’hui.
Au niveau de la connectique, très heureux de trouver de l’USB-C, un bon processeur, et suffisamment de rame pour ne pas être embêté pour au moins cinq à six ans.
Au niveau de l’autonomie, rien à signaler, je trouve qu’elle dure assez longtemps quand on a fait le test.
Pas encore utilisé la recharge rapide, donc je ne pourrai pas te donner mon avis dessus. Au niveau des couleurs de l’écran, c’est très plaisant, comme toujours chez Samsung.
L’appareil photo, c’est pas ce que je trouve le plus utile sur une tablette car je n’en ai pas l’utilité dessus, mais mon beau-père a l’air content de pouvoir prendre 2/3 photos avec .
