I was bought a similar version of this glue applicator in pink a few months ago after hinting like mad that I had seen one on some American you tube videos, I haven’t seen these for sale at any other UK outlet but they may be out there and I just couldn’t find them.
My first one arrived in April and I have been using it daily ever since. I wish I had it last year when making wedding invitations, I went through over ten of those small glue applicators and at least 2 of them broke immediately.
When I spotted this yellow version it had a lower price than the pink one and it also happened to be prime day so I snapped it up as a spare.
This one does not come with the Scotch glue reels but these are also available to order on غ and I found them under Scotch ATG tapes. Although the tapes seem to be a bigger initial outlay than the cheaper hand versions it has taken me 3 months of reasonable use to finish my first roll, 3 metres really does go a long way.
The gun itself is pretty big, it is 19 cm long by 24 cm high, I think it is pretty straightforward to load, there are instructions in the box and there is only 1 button to press which allows you to forward the reel on and 1 small piece to detach from the rear spool., I am sure that will become clear if you have one in front of you. I would not be without my machines now, I have used them for photo albums, scrapbooking, card making and wrapping presents. A fantastic piece of equipment.
