The 8mm mesh in this rotary soil sieve will help to make the finest soil imaginable, ideal for potting up seedlings at the start of the season, or for removing sticks and stones from compost.
For best results, it is recommended that the sieve is stood up in a wheelbarrow, so the sieved matter is collected in the pan. Simply pour the soil or compost into the hopper and turn the spring-loaded handle; the sorted soil falls out of the base.
With a drum that measures 15cm deep by 40cm wide, the unit stands 20cm off the ground and requires simple home assembly
* Metal rotary compost sieve * 8mm mesh * Easy to use * Spring loaded handle

Customers appreciate the composting time. They say it makes separating compost easier, saves hours sifting compost when compared with the traditional way, and produces great ready-to-use compost. The sifted compost is fine, but beware of creating a fertile environment. It's a useful garden sieve that helps extend bought and home made compost for planting vegetables, plants, and shrubs.

Customers are unhappy with the product's sturdiness. They mention the fastening on the underside broke and popped out of the sieve. The handle can unwind and come loose if not tightened on well. Some find the knob gradually comes off. The round rubber ball keeps coming off, and the ball handle unscrews every time you use it. There are also issues with the paint falling off in sheets and rust bubbling through.
