Silverline’s Border Spade is designed and manufactured for easy and efficient digging of soil in preparation for planting and sowing. It is slightly smaller than a digging spade which makes it ideal for using in raised beds with a smaller surface area, and for turning and prepping soil in beds and borders without damaging plants and shrubs in the nearby areas.
The polypropylene shaft and PD handle make it reliable and easy to use and manoeuvre, while the epoxy-coated hammer-finished head is resistant to rust and corrosion. Hardened to HRC40-45, it’s durable and reliable with an impressive load-testing of 3 minutes at 40 kg.
