This cleans up patios very easily. Here’s how I use it for maximum effectiveness:
1. Jet wash first for really dirty patios. This isn’t a miracle product (it’s essentially just bleach)
2. Use slightly more than the directions in terms of dilution. I wouldn’t recommend using it neat, but I go with a 1:4 ratio with water.
3. Leave for as long as possible and rinse really well
Once you’re done, you’ll end up with entirely clean surfaces.
Some warnings from experience:
1. As mentioned, rinse really well. Once you think you’ve rinsed it off the first time, you haven’t!
2. Wear protective or old clothes. Any splashes from this, however small, will bleach.
3. When using on large areas, the fumes are strong. Take breaks and/or wear PPE.
4. Don’t allow pets/children on the surfaces while cleaning.
5. Don’t get on metal (or rinse well if you do). It’ll slowly corrode metals if not rinsed properly (e.g. drains)
If used sensibly and safely, this is the easiest way to get your patio or driveway back to new. This particular bundle is great value for money and is packaged really well inside clear bags in case of spills during transportation.

How to Use as a Patio Cleaner
Sodium Hypochlorite Patio Cleaners are used for more stubborn stains as you need the EXTRA strength solution, which is 50% stronger than the heavy duty solution and may be diluted with up to 6 parts water and 1 part Sodium Hypochlorite 15%.

Before Treatment
This cleaner is a chemical compound with the formula NaClO. It is composed of a sodium cation (Na+) and a hypochlorite anion (ClO−); it may also be viewed as the sodium salt of hypochlorous acid. When dissolved in water it is commonly known as bleach or liquid bleach. Sodium hypochlorite is practically and chemically distinct from chlorine. Sodium hypochlorite is frequently used as a disinfectant or a bleaching agent.
After Treatment
Unfortunately there is no such thing as a weed-free surface. If organic material is allowed to accumulate on a surface it will only be a matter of time before weeds and other plants begin to grow. Weeds grow on paving through the sand joints by using the sand as a base to begin. When using the sodium hypochlorite as a solution for weed control, pay additional care to the joints to ensure success.

After Treatment
Important Notes: - This product is not for use on lawns, flowerbeds, vegetable plots or around trees and shrubs. - Keep people and pets away from the treated area for 2 days.
Storage Requirements - Always store this product in a cool dry (below 24 deg C) location that is away from children and animals. Warm and exposed to sunlight conditions will have an adverse reaction to the product as the chlorine will vent naturally.
Guidance for Using as Pool Chlorine
Sodium Hypochlorite 15% is used for the routine control of bacteria and algae in swimming pools. For effective treatment ensure that the chlorine levels of the water are a level of 2-3mg/l (ppm). The levels must be maintained above 1.5mg/l (ppm) as a minimum.
