great picture especially if using it on a screen that demands this products quality. for it's price it offers a soothing quality of picture and gives good sound range and can link to your bluetooth devices like a phone and gather even more range in sound which is nice.
It OS (operating system) is that of or in resemblance to the sony playstation - 3/4 dashboard which is unsettling even now for me as I am not a Playstation fanboy and I personally felt everytime I loaded it up and saw a Playstation dashboard just what kind of product I had. Something made for the young to have a synchronized boyhood fun experience with their games bluetooth devices and their god... the playstation maybe with COD and a bunch of annoying friends trying to shout over the purpose of the...speakers.
The operating System is crap as it lags to log into Youtube. Spends over ten seconds or so trying to boot into Youtube via wired connectivity or wireless. everything seems chunky and clampy and blocky and bunched. to spend on a christmas gift for some young brat mostly just to show Him the pricey receipt is really the only reason to buy this. otherwise you will always feel like you are chunking around a desktop dashboard just to load up DVD's, Blue ray's, to get into Youtube or any other Tv streaming network. I was intentionally going to buy the Samsung device instead but this was cheaper and consumed less energy with I believe If remembering correctly louder sound output.
The device is loudish, it is basey so good for music, looks nice, but dashboard or operating system is just crap and cheap looking.

The shizz!
I've just picked up a lightly used 2nd hand one of these and set her all up. Con first, all speakers are pre wired so no pulling the original cables through small spaces due to the Sony specific plugs and unattachable cables. Nothing that some cable cutters and a few minutes with a soldering iron won't sort though ;) once set up though this system is immense. Connection to WiFi, BT Box and Bluetooth mobile was slick. Hell, even my Panasonic viera link TV/remote work well with this (better than it did with my Panasonic DVD player lol)!! Have already tried streaming music from phone, watching stuff on BT and the built in blu ray/DVD player as well as watching some YouTube on the built in app. Results are amazing, fills the room with quality undistorted audio. Bass response is excellent. I would have quite happily paid the £280 odd you pay for this new and I would have been equally delighted. As it was I paid a mere less than half that and think it's the steal of the century!! Keep pinching myself! Might be useful to add you can watch DVD's on it without having to have the sound coming through the cinema speakers (Ie sound comes through your TV speakers only), important if your other half is like mine ha ha. Really, really great system :)
