La cosa peggiore della tecnologia digitale è che dopo un po’ di anni viene resa inutilizzabile dalla mancanza di materiali per farla funzionare, anche se è ancora di qualità ottima e funziona perfettamente. Queste cassette, che fino a non molto tempo fa costavano poco più di 2 euro l’una, sono diventate pressoché introvabili e dai prezzi esorbitanti. Ovviamente ad uno che le usa per lavoro e ci guadagna bene, ormai non conviene più usare una telecamera col nastro e si compra una con scheda di memoria. Però tutto questo è all’insegna dello spreco e io non ci sto. Continuerò a cercare queste cassette e magari a riciclarle per le riprese successive. Ma finché la mia telecamera funzionerà mi terrò quella!
