In practice, it works well, and is nice and sharp. Easy to clean but water gets under the chrome dplastic trim and the stainless piece on the handle meaning it dribbles out over time.

Ordered this one as there was no join between the slicing part and the handle, it is all one, so thought I'd give it a go. It does slice cheese, but it takes more effort, Not as sharp as my old one and it slices the cheese a lot thicker than I'd like. I wouldn't buy this again, I'd go for the cheaper option.
