Stomp Stepping Stones

Natural Walkway

These stepping stones are the perfect way to add a natural walkway to your outdoor space.

Dimensions: W30 x D30 x H2.5cm Made from recycled rubber tyres.

The stones are hollow in order to dig into the ground for stability and to remain secure.

The stones are safe to mow over.

The stepping stones are made from recycled rubber tyres which ensures the stepping stones are hard wearing and suitable for use outside year-round.

Used to provide stepping stones to our garden shed - 6 months on and they are soundly lodged in the ground, the lawnmower has been over them a few times and they have taken no damage.

They aren't cheap but hopefully as a one off investment worthwhile, easy to use, robust without being cumbersome, aesthetically fine and most importantly not slippy in the wet.

The heavier you are, the sooner that they will properly bed in, but I would imagine that it won't take very long even for someone of half my weight to have walked them into a secure placement - it really is as simple as lying the lightweight tiles on top of your grass and then walking on them as intended!

I like the look and the quality of this product once installed. I would imagine they would be easy to install over short grass ie a recently cut lawn. If laying directly on soil I would advise preparing the soil very finely, then lightly water the soil and press into position. I tried other ways on the soil but this had the best effect. A bit more work than expected but delighted with the final finish. They appear to be hard wearing, no marks when walking on them in dirty shoes. That has to be good!

These are ok for a quick cheap fix. They need a firm foundation. Recommend you bed them into some building sand as they tend to dip in the middle when you step on them if you don’t. I was expecting firm rubber like a car tyre but they are more “plasticky”. Average value for money.

I have bought these before, so knew what to expect. I have used them to provide a safe surface to walk over the grass. Non slip, and very tough. You literally just put them where you want them. I just stand on them to fit! No digging required, and once they have settled in you can even mow over them. I use a hover mower. Excellent!

I feel they would be better for using as a walkway in a greenhouse but not suitable for what I wanted them. I have kept them just going to use in a different position.
