    I fell in love with this album years ago and my copy wore out so this replaces it. Some of the tracks are great for Latin dancing. For example "Smooth" makes an excellent Cha Cha accompainment. It always reminds me of the Film Love is All Around as it was used when one of the characters arrives in America intent on finding a girl in the first bar he enters. If you want an album focusing on Santana soloing this isnt for you, but if you like song tracks with latin rhythms with excellent guitar riffs and the odd solo I recommend it. Santana's guitar riffs around the vocals show his talent. I am a guitarist and love the feel and latin soul of his playing, matching the best blues players for style and emotion. He has a way of effortlessly bending or flicking notes that makes this album timeless.

    This, to my ears, is Santana's "pop" album and loses nothing for being that bit trendeeee.
    Good tunes, fine playing, a bit of cheesy listening here and there (Maria...) but
    I absolutely adore this album. The hi-light - for me - has to be Everlast's vocal putting the lights on. Your mileage may vary if you ain't not got no soul.

    My kid calls this "Dad-rock" but she loves it too.
