When this Bamboo Garden Scoop arrived, it appeared larger and a bit heavier than I'd expected, but it has certainly proved its' worth. It is strong, well balanced and does the job of scooping out decent portions of compost & depositing into pots brilliantly. Much better than using the flatter garden trowel I'd been using and certainly less messy. The bonus is that it is made of bamboo and although it is compostable, it has an expected lifespan of 5 years. If put away clean, and in the dry, it looks as though it will last far longer than this.
