Fantastic little CB. Had it installed in no time, under 10 minutes and that includes screwing the bracket in place. I've been into CB/Ham radio for years and every new generation of car has been harder to install a mobile rig into. I've currently got a 2019 Ford Focus and there's absolutely nowhere to put a standard size CB into. This little unit fits perfectly in the center console, it plugs straight into the 12V power socket. As the dashboard lighting is also blue in this car it fits in perfectly having a blue backlight.
As it's got a quick release mount it takes seconds to take it out if I park up anywhere I'd rather not have it on show.
5 minutes after putting it on and I was chatting away with a local. Had a good 20 minute chat and it barely got warm.
