Very useful to have for digital and traditional artists alike. Personally I use it for digital art and graphic design and so far it has served its purpose brilliantly. It prevents unwanted touches on the drawing tablet helping your hand slide along without triggering the touch sensor so that it only registers the drawing pens touch. I can see it also being useful for traditional art like sketching or working with charcoal as it would prevent you from accidentally smudging your work. It comes in a 3 pack and is great value for money. The only caveat I've found is that it's not the most comfortable to wear long periods of time and can become itchy and uncomfortable if working for several hours.
