Pros: Very easy to setup and use, beautiful solid design. Sounds great. Has builtin phono preamp. When using the optical input, the receiver can turn on automatically when a signal is detected, and also shut off after a few minutes with no signal, allowing remote-less usage.
Cons: Switching to modes that don't have a shortcut on the remote can be a bit tedious- you have to page through the modes sequentially. Takes a bit long to switch on. Technics app is not very useful.

I'm really pleased with this receiver. The sound is punchy and detailed and I love how I can stream directly from ��غ�� Music, Spotify etc. Also it has a Phono input making it incredibly versatile. It took me two attempts to link to Google Home but once it's done it is easy to use and flawless. I wish the remote would take me directly to the source rather than having to scroll through the options but that's a minor point.

As someone who still owns a load of CDs, listens to DAB/FM, streams and BT this is a beautifully designed one system box. Perhaps not the truly upper end of HIFI but unless you have the hearing of a bat this delivers in spades. My only gripe is that the entering of presets radio wise is a bit of a faff, but, a minor grips. All you need is a half decent set of speakers and off you go. Enjoy!

I was in the market for a hifi with a CD player, streaming, DAB, and some way to plug my turntable in, in other words I wanted everything and here comes the Technics the answer to all my prayers. The form factor of the unit is perfect from size, dimensions, placed next to a matching record deck simply looks amazing. Sound quality wise for me incredible ( I’m using Monitor Audio Bronze ) such a balanced full sound great definition to detail all the highs lows and vocals sound brilliant, there are options in the menus to adjust settings regarding your speaker placement which it does for you. Technics app covers all your need and you soon get used to the user interface which is easy to pick up and adjust settings to your requirements. DAB radio with supplied aerial very good after trying a couple of placements. At the back of the device it allows for banana plug connections for your speaker for me a easier way to connect my speakers. CD quality is amazing playing some of my electronic Jarre//Yello and some prog Genesis / Phil Collins etc did not disappoint. A dedicated MM phono socket with earthing point absolutely brilliant ( not a lot of all in one systems have this ). The display in the front very clear and easy to read all the information you need, the cd tray if wanted can be illuminated at night which looks amazing .As always proof is in the listening if you have a chance to listen in store you will not be disappointed. The Technics has met and exceeded my expectations.
