This one is a really good value for money and is a very quality product. For building my computers, I used the thermal paste that came with coolers before and they are never that good.

What you need is one of these. Remove stocked paste and use something like this and it does the job much better. CPU temperature is much cooler now compared to the paste that is supplied with the cooler. Happy about the purchase

Originally purchased for an older iMac G4 repair and it worked brilliantly. The included spreader was actually helpful. Temps are as expected so it's obviously doing it's job.

Then some months later the epoxy on the heatsink of my network switch failed and basically fell off inside the case. The switch would crash or start having network issues. I was going to throw it away and replace, but I had some of this left over. I cleaned the old epoxy resin off the heatsink and chipset, applied a bit of his compound and a new dab of epoxy to keep it in place and now it's back up and running. Temps are cooler as well, and no more network issues.

Still have about 1/3 of a tube left so I'd say about 4-6 applications on a decent sized CPUs, a little less if you're using it for other heatsinks. Works well, but I can't say much with regards to how well it does in comparison to other compounds.

Application was easy enough as well. Very easy to control here it's injected to. The only issue I had was it being a little watery when I first opened it up. It seems to have dried up pretty quickly, so I suspect it's mainly to keep it flowing and not an issue with the compound. Just be aware to express a small amount onto paper to check consistency if you've only got a small space to work with.

After about my fourth time using this paste on my graphics card I put the cap on like I normally did, but decided I needed a little more paste yet on the GPU die. However, somehow the cap was now completely jammed onto the nozzle. After about 10 minutes trying to pull it off in various ways I had to break the nozzle off along with the cap in order to use the paste again.

As for the thermal paste, it works just fine and I didn't have any particular difficulty spreading it, but there are newer versions available (TF8, TF9, TFX) that claim significantly higher thermal conductivity, so you might be better off with one of those instead.
