SIMPLE WHEEL CHANGING SYSTEM

All products in the T300RS series (T300RS, T300RS GT and T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition) feature a quick and easy wheel changing system, allowing users to enjoy racing using different Thrustmaster wheels.

The ecosystem of Thrustmaster add-on wheels, composed of wheels sold separately without a base or pedals, offers T300RS users a wide selection of products specially designed for different motorsport styles: from GT circuit racing to rally racing on rough terrain, all options are open to Thrustmaster racers.

Simply rotate the locking system on the base of the T300RS to remove the current wheel, in order to attach a new wheel to the base.

The quick release system for the wheel only requires the use of a Phillips screwdriver, for excellent long-term gaming stability.

FAST, POWERFUL BRUSHLESS SERVOMOTOR

All products in the T300RS series (T300RS, T300RS GT and T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition) feature a brushless servomotor with nearly 25 watts of power, for fast and precise performance and impeccable control on any racing terrain.

Realistic, accurate transmission of the different elements of each race directly to the user’s hands makes this motor a must-have. Contrary to a simple brushed motor, the brushless motor technology built into the T300RS series racing wheels also allows for an extremely quiet racing experience.

The brushless motor’s endurance allows the racing wheel to maintain constant intensity and power in terms of Force Feedback, avoiding a loss of sensations even during very long gaming sessions.

As opposed to brushed motors, this brushless motor technology provides stability and dynamic performance for the driver right through to the end of every race.

DUAL-BELT SYSTEM

All products in the T300RS series (T300RS, T300RS GT and T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition) feature a dual-belt system which reduces disruptive noises and allows for smoother movements, for a more supple and flexible driving experience.

The dual-belt mechanism allows for smoothing out of the different data elements received from the race course or circuit.

Thanks to its direct link to the brushless motor, the system removes the possible presence of any dead zones and decreases uncomfortable jolting, without detracting from the power with which effects are transmitted to the user, for optimal realism in all racing environments.

Also designed for and built into Thrustmaster’s flagship racing wheel series (T-GT and TS-XW, sold separately), this system represents a significant technological evolution in terms of performance, for races where the details can make all the difference.

PROPRIETARY MAGNETIC TECHNOLOGY

All products in the T300RS series (T300RS, T300RS GT and T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition) feature Thrustmaster’s proprietary magnetic technology, for optimal wheel precision that won’t decrease over time: enjoy reliability that’s recognized as a gold standard by virtual racers worldwide.

Thrustmaster’s patented contactless H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) system, without any potentiometers, allows for an unlimited product lifespan and optimal precision throughout gaming sessions: up to 16-bit resolution, with 65,536 values.

An excellent investment for all gamers looking to get started racing, keep up their skills or significantly improve their racing performance, this proprietary technology also spearheads a variety of Thrustmaster’s high-end products — including the T-LCM Pedals pedal set, and its flagshipT-GT and TS-XW series racing wheels (all sold separately).

The wheel is fantastic, Really versatile with how users wish to set them up dependant on the purpose you intend to use it for. I have it clamped to my university desk currently and the clamping system is fantastic, solid and really easy to apply (Video's are on YT). In my case I'm currently using it for PC Sim racing until my Project Cars LE comes in March. The firmware updates were easy to do and the profiler is a really useful base level introduction as to how the wheel feels with the opportunity to test how the FFB feels dependant on the settings you have.

Then in the sim I'm using the calibration was easy to do with the wheel and the freedom to choose how heavy you want the wheel to be (Damping) and FFB was easy however does take some fine tuning as every car is different and of course also relates to the settings you have in your T300RS profiler as well as the in game options so beware on that! It also gives a bar for clipping which is where the FFB is being over worked so allows you to know where the optimal ranges are and of course that's for every individual taste and specification. I hope it shall be a similar process for the PS4 & Project Cars when that's released.

    The problems: - Pedals:

I'm a disabled driver using an automatic so for me I only use my R foot to alternate between the two pedals. The issue as many T300RS users would I'm sure of experienced by now is the brake is not progressive. so in order to apply even a little brake it requires to be pushed down a lot and I felt the pedal was rather heavy for a brake. Also unless mounted it can be very difficult to use with regards to the base lifting up especially when fully pressing down on the pedals I have experimented with options to try and secure them but have yet been unsuccessful in finding a good method. I'm going to look at alternative pedals for this system given these issues I experienced but everything else was second to none I have owned wheels in the past and I don't think there are better options available for this price in the market at this time.

Asides from the pedals the system is a great purchase and whilst alternatives are available I'm very pleased with both the product and غ service I received during the ordering process.

Awesome wheel upgraded from my Logitech dfgt because of ps4 compatibility

    The pedals,
Took some getting used to as they are a lot stiffer and feel more realistic but there was a slight dead-zone about 10-15% travel of the accelerator pedal did nothing. I tried to adapt but could ne get to grips with this issue on f1 2014 ended up taking the pedals apart and resetting the cog. This was easy to do and fixed the problem 100%. Also a good thing is the wire from the pedals and be channelled underneath and exit from left or right of the base plate. There is also mounting holes to bolt them in place.
    The steering wheel,
The feel of the wheel is awesome the paddle shifters feel like quality when shifting making a lot better that my Logitech homemade paddle shifters, the force feedback is awesome quite strong and silent compared to the dfgt. The clamp could be better as the clamp would occasionally flex and the wheel would lift up slightly when fighting the feedback (only on driveclub on 100% feedback very minor) The wheel can be bolted down with 2 M6 machine screws I have a gamepod gt2 race chair and its bolted to that nicely.
The wheel and the pedals are good Yeah I guess they are expensive but atm without an alternative force feedback wheel on the market a defo worthy upgrade on my Logitech dfgt and I am happy with my purchase

I bought this wheel on Black Friday and got it from box.co.uk for £230. They normally retail at £330 so I couldn't say No(or the wife couldn't say No!). I used to have a Logitech G27 on the PS3 so definately wanted a wheel of substance for my PS4. The wheel is absolutely amazing, it has proper transformed my enjoyment and improved my performance on Driveclub. Am so looking forward to Project CARS now. The feedback on the wheel is fantastic and being able to feel every bump and slip on the road makes such a difference. The feedback is so strong that the first week of using it my arms were aching.
The wheel is brilliant and definately better than my G27, apart from the pedals! They are shocking!! they are like the DFGT pedals. I was having a problem where they were only braking at 50% sometimes. I figured out that where my heel sat on the foot plate was pushing down the plastic which was impacting on the braking sensitivity. The pedals are also very light so you have to secure them to be able to use them. I have since upgraded to the T3PA pedals and I would recommend you do the same.
