I bought this for my M4 Mac Mini (base model) after discovering that the built-in Bluetooth range was much weaker in comparison to the 2013 iMac it replaced. In fact, it's appalling.
Setup was incredibly easy - I just plugged it in to the a USB-C port, selected it as the output device within the macOS sound settings, and my headphones paired immediately.
The range is much better now so I am quite pleased. I can actually leave the room my computer is in and go to other rooms in my flat without losing connection, as was the case with the Mac Mini built-in Bluetooth.
The dongle itself is very small so it's not a big deal having it in one of the USB-C ports. I do think the price is a bit steep at £20 for this (and that was a special offer price), but it does the job. But really, this should be in the £10 to £15 range for what it is. It seems like manufacturers want to charge a premium for USB-C instead of USB-A, but C is now the standard, so it's a poor excuse to charge more.
If I have any further updates to add, I will be sure to do so (especially if I discover any negative points!).
