I was looking for a sound bar to accompany my tv at my static van.

This was easy to set up and not too over baring with size either, the sub tucked down beside the sofa and the side speakers I placed either side behind the sofa, you can buy bracket stands for those speakers too. It came with wall brackets.

The sound for me, was good , clear and loud enough for what we needed in our static van.
The bass could be better but for what we needed it for, it was perfectly fine when we played films, tv shows in and games in 4K HDR whilst using it and the sound, sounded crisp and clear and not too loud.

There is many other options for the soundbar , like connecting via bluetooth, which was perfectly fine sound wise, and it came out clear and sounded good to me.

Overall, for the price you do get a decent soundbar but it just depends on what you needing for the space you have, Research and read the description fully.
Make sure it fits into your space and the bar output is what you are desiring.

Overall, I am really happy with it and think the price is fair for what you get.

I feel this sound system has taken a step back in the overall audio quality when I compare this to their own manufactured system, a 5.1 which comes with a subwoofer. It doesn't have the same set of drivers as that is 5.1 whilst this is a 5.1.2.

So, the 5 is the total number of speakers that are in the front centre bar, with the 1 representing the subwoofer followed by the 2, which is the rear 2 surround speakers.

Overall, when you have this wired up and under playback on a loud action movie, you can hear all tones in all areas and they all fire up filling up the area, but it lacks something. Mid-range to treble.

I personally feel that its got too much bass and that's not from the sub-woofer, but more on the drivers on the front. These drivers lack top end frequencies and seem to spend too much time firing the sound around than actually producing the right tones for speech.

This does have pre-sets to allow you to fine-tune, but you don't want to be adjusting part way through a movie.

For a sound system that sets you back currently at just under £260, I think this is a far fetched and you could get something much better for that price range. That said, this isn't to be knocked back either. It is a good sound setup and will excite your motions if you've never had a setup like this before and you won't regret this, but this is my opinion based on comparisons against one of their own manufactured units that sound much crisper even if that lacks bass.

Straight out of the box, this can be rigged up without any issues.

The main centre unit is wired up with a supplied power-unit whilst the sub-woofer is powered by a mains cable and the rear surround speakers are hard-wired to this.
The sub-woofer is wirelessly connected to the centre unit, it comes pre-paired, but can be re-paired by following the instructions.

One bit of a nuisance is the way to link up the centre units that attach together, is via a unique supplied data cable which is not flexible and does get in the way if you want to push this up against the wall.

In summary, good starter kit and ideal gift for someone you know wanting a decent sound-system, but if you're an audiophile, then you may want to consider alternatives, even from within the Ultimea range as some of their other units are great.

The media could not be loaded.

When connecting it was rather pretty hard connecting the two blocks together especially when you got arthritis, also the markings were not clear enough I had to use a torch to see them as well. I think these markings should be in white to stand out better. My Philips TV and HDMI expander input was instantly recognised and likewise my TV recognised the Nova S80 as well. Funny enough I did not need to pair the subwoofer with the soundbar as it just seemed to pair itself. When the speakers are not in use there is a noise emitting from the surrounds which is annoying.

Playing music from ��غ�� Music I found the stereo spread was more dimensional listening to queens Bohemian Rhapsody as an example, it was like it had been converted to surround sound from stereo, which was really impressive. However, the bass is weak and lacking in punch even on full setting but I remeid this using the Music setting but then you dont get that nice surround effect if you do. This is a much bigger bass woofer than my D60 was as well. Using the EQ on music helped a bit but not a lot. I tested this with Ken Booths Everything I Own a reggae song which is good for checking bass. If you get up to move about the house it lacks unless your sat near the woofer. There also seems to be a distortion from the woofer during quiet spells.

For: Great separation and dimensional sound on some stereo recordings Cons: Poor Bass, plus an annoying rumbling sound even when it's not in use, watch my video to hear it.

Conclusion: Reasonable value but am sure there are better systems for the price, shop around.
