This is good but a warning if you wish to use them as PC/Laptop speakers.

So far this sounds and looks good.
The only trouble is we bought this for use as a PC speaker system.
It comes with lots of cables, including an HDMI, but it does NOT come with a cable for plugging into a computer soundcard/motherboard. Or any stereo mini jack source at all.
The closest is a mini jack to stereo RCA. The mini jack goes into the centre unit but no computer or laptop I know of has twin RCA to plug the other end into.
If you are ordering this I'd advise ordering a stereo mini-jack to mini-jack cable.

If you have a spare HDMI port on your computer you might be able to get audio to it through that but if you are also using this for your TV you would have to swap them over all the time.

This soundbar has excellent-quality audio from advanced full-range drivers. I particularly struggle with voices and this has preset channels to make voices clearer.
It was easy to set up with my TV via Bluetooth. And there is no lag in the signal.
It also comes with lighting which is perfect if you are using it for music. It also has several preset EQs. So whether you like a lot of bass or classical, there is a preset you can use.
I really like this speaker. It is sleek and stylish, excellent quality and a reasonable price. What more do you need?

The design is pretty brilliant and inventive, as you can set-up this system as a long single sound bar or you can detach the left and right speakers and have them as stand alone. It seems to increase the versatility, depending on where you are using the sound bar - you might want to use the single bar for use on a large TV, but separate and angle the speakers if using on a laptop/game station.

I was surprised to find this soundbar comes with HDMI/ARC connectivity, as that is something I don't usually see on sub-£100 models. You can also connect it through Blue-tooth as well as a few other options.

I'm personally not a fan of the lighting effects (I'm not one of those people who has LEDs fitted behind their TV either), but you can switch them off if you want. Or if you light flashing things while watching a movie...then leave them on.

The sound quality is pretty decent throughout, and it delt with everything nicely without any unexpected results. The bass isn't exactly floor-shattering, you'd need a subwoofer is that is something you are looking for, but still perfectly acceptable for this price point.

The only thing I don't like is the dual-control through the software app and the remote control. There are settings you need to control through the software and at times I was changing between the app and remote to use the sound bar. It's not a massive issue, but I would like to see the app being able to give full control.

I assembled this to be a single bar unit and that took less than 5 minutes to put together and hookup to the TV, you get everything you will need in the box, which is a lot better than having to wait for a HDMI cable like you would with big brands.

TV recognised it straight away and the remote allows for easy setup, I didn't want an extra remote however so decided to install the app.

Sound quality is fantastic considering the price point, and would be great enough for anyone using this to watch live TV or films, you can also tweak the equaliser setup on the app to play music with great results.

Now the minor issues:

The app is quite poorly designed and you literally have to sign back in every time you exit the app, which is a bit annoying but not the end of the world.

I initially wanted the light to stay on dim setting and it did, switched on and off with the TV and all good, so I switched the TV off and went for a walk, 2 hours later I walked back in the room and the lights were on, the soundbar itself was off and so was the TV.

I don't think this is a difficult problem to fix, probably just requires a firmware upgrade to patch the bug and all should be well, but have to disable the lights altogether in the meanwhile.

Overall I'm really happy with the sound quality and the design for under £90, would definitely recommend.

This is a decent little soundbar for what it is.
Although you don't get real rear channel from speakers, it handles the virtual surround well enough for a small room.
The lack of a subwoofer shows though. But, you do have the option to install a sub, based on the port on the main unit. Although, I cannot find anywhere that sells one.

Setup is simple enough. You can choose to have as a single bar, or separate the left & right speakers for mounting elsewhere (including wall, which it comes with the hardware to achieve this).
You also get all the cables required, including HDMI, toslink and the speaker wires.
No batteries for the remote (2 x AAA required).

The RGB lighting cannot be setup via the device. Not from what I was able to tell, annoyingly.
You must download the app, create an account, pair via bluetooth (where the QR code for the bluetooth is on the bottom of the device and a pain to get to if you already set this up somewhere).
Only then can you enable the RGB to react to sound.
Note, that the RGB doesn't output colours that are on the screen, like some higher end devices. It just outputs colours like a visual EQ. Not that immersive.

The remote has a lot of functionality, but as above, it would have been great to have all functionality within the remote and not locked behind the app.

Overall the sound quality is better than TV default. Louder, too. But with it being 5.0, with 2 of those being virtual and no sub, this would have been a much better product if they took out the RGB, gave you a sub and actual rear speakers.

Il sistema audio Apollo S70 è un buona soluzione audio per ambienti di dimensioni contenute. Le due casse da 5 canali e 180 Watt (non una grande potenza) sono valide per superare il semplice audio televisivo o per migliorare una postazione PC. Tramite un sistema ad incastro in plastica possono essere unite a formare una sola soundbar, oppure separate e messe in verticale tramite stand incluso. La qualità audio è decente, permette di risaltare molti suoni ambientali, ma manca dell'aiuto del subwoofer per i bassi. Le luci e l'equalizzazione sono regolabili interamente tramite app, ma se volete che i colori vadano a tempo con le immagini (come il sistema Philips molto più caro) scordatevelo. Sono luci prettamente di bellezza o atmosfera. Ho apprezzato la presenza della connessione HDMI che, ad oggi, risulta la migliore per il trasporto del segnale audio.

Tuttavia, una nota dolente riguarda le luci ambientali integrate. In confezione troviamo, ben protetti con supporti in schiuma ed imbustati singolarmente, la soundbar Ultimea Apollo S70, alcuni accessori, il telecomando ed istruzioni brevi ed illustrate anche in italiano.
Gli accessori comprendono: trasformatore con cavo di alimentazione DC, cavi di collegamento con poli (rosso e bianco) sia corti per l'uso orizzontale che lunghi per uso distanziato in verticale, cavo HDMI per collegarlo alla TV, cavo rca ed ottico, supporti per montaggio a muro con viti e tasselli inclusi, basi per le barre laterali.

La Soundbar si può suddividere in 3 parti: dispositivo centrale di controllo, barra destra e barra sinistra (collegate con cavi a 4 poli per ogni lato) e utilizzando le basi su cui è facilissimo posizionare le barre semplicemente roteandole ad incastro.
Si può utilizzare anche orizzontalmente per intero, rimuovendo le basi dalle barre, e le protezioni laterali dal corpo centrale e unendole sempre mediante rotazione a incastro (unite con cavi a 4 poli più piccoli). Sono presenti gommini anche alla base delle barre se poste in orizzontale.
Le luci RGB saranno sempre rivolte sul retro verso la parete (che si trova alle spalle della TV).

Sul retro del dispositivo di comando troviamo i seguenti ingressi: DC in per alimentatore, FR e FL per cavi di collegamento alle barre laterali, SUB OUT per il subwoofer, AUX per il cavo audio, Optical per quello ottico, USB per chiavette usb, ed infine HDMI per la tv da collegare ad HDMI ARC.
È possibile inoltre il collegamento mediante bluetooth con la tv o altri dispositivi come lo smartphone, tablet o PC. Testato e funziona bene.

Il suono prodotto è davvero buono, nitido e chiaro, con ottimi bassi, amplifica notevolamente il volume audio della TV.
Sicuramente un buon impianto.
È possibile accendere e spegnere il dispositivo, selezionare la fonte HDMI ARC, attivare il bluetooth e aumentare e diminuire il volume, sia direttamente con i tasti a sfioramento sul dispositivo di controllo, sia mediante telecomando.
Su quest'ultimo sono presenti ulteriori funzioni, come la scelta della fonte audio, volume muto, regolazione di bassi e altre impostazioni sonore, intensità luci rgb e poche scene preimpostate sia per audio che luci, livello retroilluminazione del display sul dispositivo di controllo centrale.

Si può utilizzare con funzioni base senza App, altrimenti occorre scaricare dallo store quella denominata Ultimea.
È possibile così gestire alcune impostazioni ulteriori sia per quanto riguardo l'audio che i colori e le scene delle luci RGB, sebbene anche qui sono molto limitate. Si collega mediante bluetooth e posizione che devono essere attive.
Quindi si puo avere la soundbar collegata mediante hdmi e gestirla da telecomando o da app mediante bluetooth.

Alcune cose non mi sono piaciute:

1. Per utilizzare l'app bisogna necessariamente registrarsi con EMAIL e password, attendendo il codice di conferma.
L'app a volte è un po' lenta ed è molto limitata per quanto riguarda le impostazioni RGB permettendo di scegliere tra alcuni colori fissi e pochissime scene dinamiche, quella che va a ritmo funziona ma fa davvero poco.
2. È possibile selezionare i colori delle luci SOLO dall'app, vi è un tasto dedicato alle luci RGB sul telecomando per cambiare leggermente l'intensità luminosa e se si preme al centro permette di selezionare solo tra le 6 scene preimpostate, se tenuto premuto spegne i led.
Un vero peccato non ci sia maggior scelta.
3. Alcuni tasti come play/pausa e destra e sinistra li ho testati in diverse situazioni ma sembrano non servire a nulla, nè con canzoni nè film, nulla (potevano mettere piuttosto dei cambi colore per le luci.)
4. Occorrono 2 pile AAA per il telecomando NON incluse.
5. Quasi tutto è in plastica, ben realizzato e con belle finiture ma materiali non premium.
6. Cable management migliorabile. Troppi cavi sparsi.
Inoltre il trasformatore di alimentazione è davvero grande, mi occupa due prese creandomi alcuni disagi.
7. Quando tolgo basi e protezioni laterali per posizionarla in orizzontale devo conservarle altrove.
8. Con il pc ha funzionato solo mediante bluetooth, non con il cavo hdmi in dotazione.

Prezzo medio alto per un prodotto con un ottimo impianto audio e buoni bassi, luci ambientali carine, ma che ha molte limitazioni per quanto riguarda l'app, il telecomando e la logistica generale. Mi piace ma è sicuramente migliorabile.

In confezione troviamo, ben protetti con supporti in schiuma ed imbustati singolarmente, la soundbar Ultimea Apollo S70, alcuni accessori, il telecomando ed istruzioni brevi ed illustrate anche in italiano.
Gli accessori comprendono: trasformatore con cavo di alimentazione DC, cavi di collegamento con poli (rosso e bianco) sia corti per l'uso orizzontale che lunghi per uso distanziato in verticale, cavo HDMI per collegarlo alla TV, cavo rca ed ottico, supporti per montaggio a muro con viti e tasselli inclusi, basi per le barre laterali.

Una soundbar transformer che permette di separare le due estremità e di usarle a torre lateralmente. Inoltre le due torri hanno sul retro dei led RGB che proiettano sulla parete vari effetti di colore. Forse il prezzo piuttosto contenuto è giustificato dall'utilizzo di materiali non proprio di lusso, ma il risultato finale e l'audio sono ottimi e godibili. È possibile anche collegare un subwoofer, non presente in confezione
