Good even lighting, remained cool during use. Pages of slides can be viewed while still in transparent file prior to scanning. Not tried the phone scanning app as I have a digital scanner. Good value for money, construction good and design sleek. Three brightness levels worked well in various background light levels. Plug in switch on and off you go.

How to scan?
1. Connect the power adapter and the light pad using the USB cable (included), and press the power button to turn it on.
2. Place the slide or negative to be scanned on the light pad;
3. Place your phone on the light pad and keep it parallel to the light pad, open the picture scanner app to scan the slide or negative
