Only good if roof is fixed with copper nails

This is pretty robust, I was able to hammer the vertical part of the handle quite hard and it didn't break.
However the reason I know this is that my roof had been fixed with galvanised nails, and frankly this tool will not get through them. In the end, with the hammer, the nails were bent and pulled out but with damage to the slats and slates. That's not a fault with the tool, I was using it on the wrong material.
So, if you have slates fixed with galvanised nails, get the version that has a hacksaw-type blade on the side to cut them. If it's fixed with copper nails, this is the job.
