This Xbox cooling fan/charging stand isn't so much a game changer, but more a peripheral of convenience - but its entirely practical and does what its supposed to in a very pleasing way.
Firstly, the fan does what a fan does... keeps the Xbox cool whilst in use. I hadn't noticed any specific issues with my Xbox overheating at any point, but it does get warm, so hopefully this will prevent any issues in the future. It's also a nice quiet fan... you can hear it, but not when you have any noises coming from the TV.
My main reason was to be able to charge my controllers without having to manually plug in a cable each time. Just popping them onto the base when I'm done ensures that they'll be ready for my next gaming session when I need them, and somehow it feels like less of a chore putting them onto a charging stand than it does actually plugging a cable in.
The RGB lights are just an optional extra for me... I'm not one for having them on during use, but I do sometimes turn them on and think they look cool - but it's just not something I'm all that interested in.
All in all, it's very useful addition to my set up.

I bought this accessory for my Xbox Series X mainly because my console tends to heat up after long gaming sessions, and I wanted a cooling system that would also help with charging my controllers. The extra features like the RGB lights seemed like a fun bonus, but my main concern was functionality – keeping the Xbox cool and ensuring my controllers were always ready to go.

As far as cooling goes, this system does the job well. The top fan kicks in nicely and keeps the console from getting too warm, even after a full day of gaming. I’ve noticed a significant drop in temperature, and the fan is surprisingly quiet. I was worried it might be too loud or distracting, but you hardly notice it when you’re playing, which is a big plus.

The charging station is another feature I really appreciate. It’s much more convenient than having to plug the controllers in every time, and the 1400 mAh rechargeable batteries last a decent amount of time. I haven’t had any issues with the controllers running out of charge in the middle of a session, and it’s great to just pop them in the stand when I’m done. No more hunting for AA batteries!

Now, the RGB lights – they’re a bit hit or miss for me. I know some people really love the custom lighting setups, and I can see the appeal for making your gaming setup look more lively. But honestly, I find them a bit excessive. You can adjust the lighting effects, which is nice, but they still feel a bit too much for my taste, especially when gaming in a darker room. Thankfully, you can turn them off, which I end up doing most of the time.

One minor gripe is that the fan system adds a bit of bulk to the console, so if you’re tight on space, it might make things feel more cramped. But overall, it’s a well-built accessory that enhances both cooling and charging without any major fuss.

In conclusion, it’s a practical add-on for Xbox Series X owners who want better cooling and a handy way to charge controllers, but I’d say the RGB lights are more of a personal preference. If you’re after functionality over flashiness, this is still worth considering.

My Series X over the years, seems to ramp up and overheat a little... add to that, I have a controllers, a headset, and stuff scattered everywhere. The thought of having it all in one place was pretty sweet.

Package is really professional looking. Almost looks like an official Xbox upgrade. Reading online, I've been told that using something like this will void your warranty... mine is out of warranty, but even if was under warranty, I have no idea how they could tell you used this.

Before installing things I used a can of compressed air to clean out my Xbox, cleared a substantial amount of dust out of it. Remember, by putting a bigger fan on your device is going to draw more air though it, more air will have more dust in it, which means that more dust will build up faster. I learned that with my Xbox One.

The larger fan is nice. In a larger room you hardly notice it sound... in a smaller room it is probably going to be a little frustrating.

The headset stand works just fine... it's really just a plastic hook... it holds the headset, not much else to say on that.

The stand itself is study, not the heaviest plastic but it's solid. The Series X sits firmly inside it. The RGB is nice and has options to change how it looks. The fan options are a nice touch. The two additional USB ports on the front may come in handy and now gives you a total of 3 on the front, one on the console and two on the base.

The rechargeable batteries are a nice touch, but a LOW capacity, you'll be recharging them a little more frequently than some good batteries but if you doc your controller on the ports on the side of the stand when you are done playing you should be good to go... but the frequently you recharge the faster the batteries will lose their charge in the long run. The controllers are a little snug in the side stands, to the point where I make the whole thing slide a bit when I put them in or pull them out. Doesn't need to be that snug really. When the controllers are charged, the indicator on the sides will turn green... nice touch.

The game stand on the back does work... but it's just small plastic fins on the back of the stand that the games barely slot into. Added that they are facing away from the front of the console, it's kinda pointless, and I'll never use that feature.

Overall, not perfect... but a neat upgrade. Best part for me is the fan, then the controllers with the rechargeable batteries are a nice bonus. RGB, not really my thing but if you like it... it has TONS of it and it looks neat.

Pros...
- Sturdy
- Fan is quiet enough with options
- Expands on your USB ports
- Like the way the controller dock into the base with indicators
- Headset holder is helpful

Cons...
- Rechargeable batters are low capacity
- Controller docs are a little snug
- Game stand is pointless as it faces away from the front of the console

For the price, it's a good upgrade. If you are primarily buying for cooling, it's pretty solid. If you are primarily buying because of the rechargeable batteries, shop elsewhere.
