- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 October 2024Bought this as replacement for my sons quest 2, comes with quest 3 attachments as well if you wanted to upgrade from the 2. Fits lovely and does the job. The additional battery pack is an added bonus and I'd highly recommend it for the extra time to play.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 November 2024Bought because I thought it would be easy to change the head size between me and my daughter, but unfortunately there was no way it was going to fit her. Not suitable for kids as far as I'm concerned.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 June 2024Really nice headset with all the parts needed, can even fit quest 2, only issue would be that the manual is online which was odd to see but works well and has survived so far
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 May 2024This power strap for Meta Quest has enhanced my virtual reality experience with its padded headstrap and integrated power bank. Its comfortable design and secure fit ensure extended comfort during immersive gaming sessions. The additional power bank feature demonstrates uninterrupted gameplay, eliminating the need for frequent charging breaks. While it may not be compatible with all VR headsets, its overall performance and convenience meet my gaming needs effectively. Overall, it's a valuable accessory for enhancing comfort and gameplay in virtual reality environments.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 April 2024Probably one of the better (powered) straps on the market at this price point.
While they're all trying to achieve the same solution.. holding (and in this case) powering the Meta Quest in the most comfortable position possible, there are some which quite frankly you're wanting to remove not so long after putting it on.
This one from Venom however bucks the trend thankfully, and is one of the most comfortable ones I've tried to date.
The pads are really soft and supple, and once you've adjusted the strap to the perfect tightness (start lose, the just one nip-up at a time), and it really is a dream to wear.
The extra weight from the 5000mAh battery is barely noticeable compared to a non-powered strap, and it's pretty much the norm now to have this extra-power facility on hand.
Make sure you charge the battery up beforehand, whatever the level may be showing straight out of the box. They're never accurate until they've been power-cycled a few times, and the remaining capacity out of the box will probably be much less than is initially shown (as you'll see when you charge it up).
There's loads of these straps available of course, but from personal experience comfort-wise, there's little to beat it.
On a quality/value-for-money basis... 5-Stars.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 May 2024Love this Strap for Meta Quest
It is padded well for a more comfortable experience than the original and can be adjusted so that either I or one of the children can use it when playing.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 April 2024The Meta Quest 3 VR Headset is a brilliant virtual reality product, but its stock peripherals such as the head strap, face cover, and controllers leave room for improvement. This is where the aftermarket comes in, providing custom products to modify or enhance functionality of the headset.
This Venon Head Strap with power pack, is compatible with both Quest 2 & 3 VR Headsets, and covers modifying the head support system, by dispensing with the stock head straps altogether, and replacing with a halo type support plus an adjustable headband going across the head from front to back.
The natural comparison to make is with the stock head straps. Personally, found the stock straps to be patently uncomfortable, too loose, and made the VR kit feel front heavy. Also had purchased an elaborate aftermarket solution, with three pivot points and integral extra battery – this was much more comfortable than stock head strap, and the extra battery power welcome. However, this was fiddly to set up, looked cumbersome, as well as feeling too heavy. Another aftermarket head strap tried was simple in design, just one pivot point and no extra battery, with a Velcro strap acting as a headband from front to back; this was comfortable but without the battery pack a little front heavy, and missed the extra hours power available.
The Venon encompasses all the plus points cited above, culminating in the best compromise, and most comfortable head strap experienced to date. It’s a nice straight forward design, easy to assemble onto the Quest 3, or onto a Quest 2 with the two extra fitments and screw driver provided. Printed instructions are not provided, instead a website link, but assembly is a straightforward 5-minute job. It is wise to be very careful when pulling the old stock straps off the headset bars, these have known to break if too much untoward force used. The Venon has a tight slide on head strap fixture, rather than the clip on – this can give further front to back adjustment if required.
Quality of materials appears outstanding, and the Venon is a near identical colour and texture match to the Quest 3 headset. There are several adjustable pivot points, and found it very easy to provide a comfortable fit. One area to take care of is to try and avoid angling first hinge up to much, as this will reduce sound level as speakers built into the Quest at this point. The top head strap has Velcro at both ends, and can be used either under or over halo, depending on head shape and size.
Easy to set up for optimum view and comfort, an unexpected bonus was a perceptible increase in field of view, possibly thanks to the neat adjustment options available. Superb ergonomics throughout, including the built in power bank with five small white LEDS to indicate capacity and charging function.
Once assembled the Quest 3 looked complete, and the back adjustable knob made securing the optimum fit a doddle. Found it best to find the best face position first, then adjust halo angle, tighten and finally adjust the head band This Venon strap does fit on my aftermarket charging dock, with no problems (see photograph), as this supplies power to the bottom of the headset point. Charging docks using headset’s side USB point, would necessitate taking out their USB magnetic point each time, making use largely impractical. Suspect that the charging dock would only charge headset battery, and therefore would advise Venon USB lead to be disconnected when charging.
Out of all the head straps tried of various designs, this is now my all-round favourite. It sits in a nice balance between an over simple strap (as per Quest 3 stock) and an over engineered solution with multiple adjustments and knobs. The extra power bank is most welcomed, as well as the extra hours play use, this assists balance of headset to feel lighter in use, and also enables front opening of visor without the Quest flopping down.
Thoroughly recommended power head strap, 5 stars.

Riktigt trevlig headstrap med många inställningsmöjligheter. Sitter bra på huvudet och ett plus för batteriet.

Ebenfalls super ist die akkulaufzeit also ich konnte ein paar stunden länger spielen damit
