Easy to assemble with good instructions. Plenty of ventilation to aid composting. Very good value for money. Similar footprint to council recycling bins and we have installed it in the line, on top of slabs to keep the area clean and intend to compost waste raw veg and small garden waste, cut flowers etc. easy to open and close. It will take time to build up compost but will add to useful waste.

This things flies together and really looks the part, right up until the inputted soil descends and settles. Once it settles the problems started.

The clips on this item do not stand proud enough to remain clipped, so as the compost drops the lower clips are under too much strain and burst open.

The ventilation at the sides means that you will get weeds, or potatoes, growing rampant throughout and all over.

The lid doesn't close properly, being more two hinges of plastic that roughly sit atop the bin, and as the weight fills the bin it warps to make the lid even less use as a lid.

In short, the plastic is too thin and warps, the clips to hold it together are insubstantial to the job at hand, and it just doesn't work.
Also, the seller does offer refunds, however this is through a returns policy, so expect to have a huge pile of soil just lay around until DPD collect and return your item and your money is refunded, so you can get another one.
