This was a good buy for us as I used this today on my stairs, and wow it brought the carpets back to it's original colour. Light weight, fits nicely on the stairs as you do each step it sits nicely without moving so you can get on with clean the carpet. I would recommend this wee spot clean machine good value for money, and I would also recommend taking insurance out on it from 2 years to 5 years just in case it breaks down. It is a lot lighter than carrying a heavy up right carpet cleaner up and down the stair this makes light work this wee spot clean I love it's amazing easy to use and I love the fact it is self cleaning so you just let it get on with cleaning it's self empty the tubs dry and set in the larder.

NO SMELLS, NO LEAKS, THE CORD IS A GOOD LENGTH AS I STARTED FROM TOP OF THE STAIRS MOVE DOWN WARDS. CAPET DRIES FAST. I really think this would be ideal for any home with carpets with pets keeps the carpets fresh, clean.

Haven’t used it yet as am trying to locate a suitable spot cleaner to go into it. It would have been helpful to have one included even it was just a small bottle. The machine is neat and well designed and easy to carry. UPDATE: Now having used this when eventually locating the very expensive carpet cleaner, 250 ml for £12.99. I found the following:
There is no measurement indicator on the tank or the bottle (100ml to 1000ml, which when added to 1000l fills the machine to the top). The clean water tank is impossible to tip out all of the water, you do have to follow the instruction. It needs a small jug or funnel to fill it.. It took as long to clean out the machine as it was to do the job. The spring button on the head is quite difficult to push clear to get the head off. There is no storage for the pipe cleaner. There is no indicator of covering area my mat was 80cm x 180cm and had three very bad stains. As a rough indicator 500ml in the tank comes to the bottom of the curve of the handle and 1000ml comes to the dark plastic at the top which is below the max fill mark. When you get over all that it is easy to use, pulls up the water but might need numerous passes depending on how generous you have been with the detergent and water. It is quite noisy, has a long flex which is neatly fitted into a storage area around the base.
